Indoor Golf League Registration Process Step 1: Create a Team - Visit the league registration page using the registration link provided by Golfer's Edge. - Select your preferred team format: 2-Player Team or 4-Player Team. - The person creating the team will automatically become the Team Captain. Step 2: Enter Team Details - Enter the Team Name. - Enter the Captain's details. - Select the number of players. - Enter the email addresses of all teammates. Step 3: Complete Payment - The Team Captain completes the registration payment on behalf of the entire team. - Once payment is successful, the team is created and registration is confirmed. Step 4: Team Invitation - Invitation emails are automatically sent to all teammates using the email addresses provided during registration. Step 5: Accept Invitation - Each teammate must open the invitation email and click 'Accept Invitation' to join the team. - A player is considered part of the team only after accepting the invitation. Step 6: Registration Complete - Once all teammates have accepted their invitations, the team is fully registered and eligible to participate in the league. Important Notes - Only one person is required to create and register the team. - The Team Captain is responsible for entering accurate team information. - Registration is considered complete only after successful payment. - Team members must accept their invitation emails to join the team roster. - Players should check their spam or junk folders if an invitation email is not received. Golfer’s Edge Indoor Golf League League Rules, Terms & Conditions Player Eligibility - The league is open to all Golfer’s Edge members and guests. - Members may use their available simulator hours to complete league rounds. - Non-members and guests must book simulator slots to participate. - All participants must complete registration and payment before the first round. League Venues - The Indoor Golf League will be conducted at designated Golfer’s Edge facilities. - Participating venues currently include Golfer’s Edge Bengaluru and Golfer’s Edge Chennai. - Additional approved venues may be included in the league and communicated to participants in advance. - Participants must select their preferred location during registration. - Participants are eligible to compete only at their registered location unless otherwise approved by the league committee. League Format - The Indoor Golf League will be played in a team based Best Ball format. - Players may participate as a 2-player team or a 4-player team. - Each player will play their own ball throughout the round and record an individual score for every hole. - For each hole, the lowest score recorded by any player on the team will count as the team’s score for that hole. - The team’s total gross score for the round will be calculated using the best score on each hole. - The league consists of 4 rounds, with 1 round played each week. Each round is played over 18 holes using the designated simulator course and settings. - Each round will be open for play from Monday 7am until Sunday 10pm. - All teams must complete their assigned round within the specified round window. - Any rounds not completed before the weekly deadline will be considered forfeited. Scoring Format – Single Peoria System - The league uses the Single Peoria Handicap System to ensure fair competition among players of all skill levels. - Before play begins, the league committee will select 6 hidden holes. These holes remain confidential until all players have completed their rounds for that week. - The same hidden holes apply to all players within a round in that week. Handicap Calculation 1. Add the player's scores for the 6 hidden holes. 2. Determine the number of strokes over or under par for those holes. 3. Multiply this value by 3, that would give an indicative handicap. 4. Subtract the handicap from the player's gross score to determine the net score. Peoria Handicap = (Strokes Over/Under Par on Hidden Holes × 3) – Round Par (72) Net Score = Gross Score − Peoria Handicap Leaderboard & Results - A Live leaderboard will be available throughout each round window and updated regularly as scores are submitted. - Leaderboard positions displayed during the week are provisional and subject to score verification. - Weekly results will be finalised and officially published every Monday following the completion of the previous round. - Once published, weekly results and rankings will be considered official. - The league committee reserves the right to correct any scoring or calculation errors identified before the official results are announced. General Rules & Conditions - Players are responsible for booking and completing their rounds within the weekly deadline. - Leaderboard rankings are determined by net scores. - Participants must carefully review all scores before submitting their round. Once the score has been submitted, no requests for score corrections or modifications will be accepted. - Golfer’s Edge reserves the right to amend league rules, schedules, or formats when necessary.
